Not high art of course but Bob Ross fulfills the mandate of a modern appreciation for traditional painting with a new twist. Simple working people from all over the world appreciate and love his paintings. Youtube has videos of tribal people reacting to Bob Ross. Snobs will dismiss but I wonder how you all might appraise this development?
