A Fair Hearing
Author(s): George T. Shaw
The Alt-Right in the Words of Its Members and Leaders
Personal perspectives from activists and intellectuals on the front lines of a brutal culture war. Featuring essays by Jared Taylor, Richard Spencer, Kevin MacDonald and many others.
Alt-righters are determined to build a movement that, unlike the mainstream right, can offer meaningful resistance to, and finally rout, the left. — From the Introduction
The alt-right is foremost an intellectual movement, but its thinkers are anything but retiring academics. Its members are seldom over 40, often from middle class backgrounds, often college educated, and always on the cutting edge of Internet culture. With their legendary brutal attacks on liberal utopianism, their ability to dominate any social media platforms where they aren’t censored, and more recently, their controversial public demonstrations, the alt-right has become the proverbial elephant in the room of American politics.
Are these merely neo-Nazis with updated packaging, or has this movement, as its members believe, tapped into something more profound? You’ve heard from their detractors. Here is an opportunity to get the information firsthand, and judge for yourself.
I highly recommend this book to people of all political persuasions who want an inside look into the movement and not just the media spin. — Paul Ramsey, Popular Vlogger and Political Commentator
The authors of this book remind us of the age-old Western wisdom: the iron laws of race and heredity cannot be wished away. They will soon determine a new cycle in Western history. — Dr. Tomislav Sunic, World-Renowned Author and Diplomat
This is a terrific collection of essays that is difficult to fault, and it is my sincere hope that it finds both audiences that it seeks — the movement veterans and the everyman confused about the state of his culture and nation. One might argue that it is too heavily focused on the American context at the expense of other Western nations, but it is the American context that really gave birth to the Alt-Right, especially in a stylistic sense.
— Andrew Joyce,The Occidental Observer
The multiplicity of views and backgrounds of the Alt-Right are well captured in A Fair Hearing. As one would expect from this American manifestation of the European New Right, albeit with origins going back to the Old Right in the USA, it has its own foci.
— Kerry Bolton,The Unz Review
Some of the most interesting essays in A Fair Hearing were contributed by authors I had never heard of before, and there are no real “duds” in the book. It offers exactly what its title implies: an unbiased look at the Alt-Right such as the movement’s opponents are simply incapable of providing.
— Roger Devlin,VDARE
Among the deserving and hardly manageable compilations released by publishers [...] within the Alt-Right during the last years, A Fair Hearing makes for an extraordinary merit — especially because of its aiming at an interested, yet outside audience instead of the usual promotion of disputes within the "scene."
— Nils Wegner,Arcadi

Insightful and pleasurable to read. This book is the first I’ve read of its kind, essays by alt right, and I’m relatively new to the movement. The essays in this book cover a wide range of topics from antifa to racial structure in society. All written well and intelligently.
