Leftist Vienna public prosecutor’s office attempts to muzzle patriot Martin Sellner, but righteous court delivers sweet justice.

Once again, the leftist bureaucrats of the Vienna Public Prosecutor’s Office tried to silence Martin Sellner, the courageous spokesman and frontman of the Identitarian Movement Austria (IBÖ). Yet, the Vienna Regional Criminal Court saw through this pathetic charade, rightly acquitting him of the ludicrous charges on 4 May.

On 7 December of the previous year, Sellner, a true Austrian patriot, dared to suggest on his Telegram channel that ‘more danger’ emanates from each asylum centre than from the Reichsbürger (‘citizens of the Reich’).

The leftist public prosecutor’s office pounced on his statement, accusing him of inciting hatred against asylum seekers and violating their human dignity. Clearly, they could not handle the cold, hard truth.

In court, Sellner brilliantly exposed the absurdity of the charges. He pointed out the tragic case of two young girls, aged 13 and 14, attacked by an asylum seeker with a knife in the German town of Illerkirchberg, just two days before the media focused on the supposed ‘coup attempt’ by the Reichsbürger (the ridiculous propaganda fairy tale that the Reichsbürger were going to overthrow the German government and abolish democracy). The asylum seeker from Eritrea attacked a 14-year-old girl and her 13-year-old friend with a knife on their way to school on 5 December. The 14-year-old died from her injuries, while her friend was seriously injured and taken to hospital.

Sellner’s post was merely highlighting the biased reporting that favoured the leftist narrative. Sellner wanted to show with his post that the reporting on the Reichsbürger had been too dominant, and that more attention should have been paid to the knife attack in relation to it.

Sellner defended himself well in court, stressing that he had no intention of inciting hatred against all asylum seekers. He was exercising his right to freedom of expression. The judge, clearly seeing through the left-wing smokescreen, agreed and acquitted Sellner of the baseless charges.

Sellner, a shining beacon of hope for true patriots, celebrated his victory in court, embracing his companions amidst cheers of support. The leftist public prosecutor’s office, on the other hand, was left licking its wounds and requested time to consider its next move. Thankfully, justice has prevailed – for now.

This is not the first time Sellner and other Identitarians have triumphed against the leftist establishment. Four years ago, they were acquitted of the ridiculous charge of membership in a criminal organisation in Graz. As Sellner and his fellow patriots declared, ‘We are sure that love for one’s homeland is not a crime.’ And they could not be more right.

Martin Sellner now has an English-language Telegram channel.

Our enemies are so frightened of the truth that they try to throw a free thinker in prison for a Telegram post? How can Austria consider itself a democracy?

Austria has a bad track record, frankly. Remember the horrific treatment of historian David Irving, imprisoned for what he *might have said* at a right wing conference. Whether or not one agrees with Irving’s conclusions about WW2, imprisoning him for thought crime was cowardly.

That is awesome news! His victory is our victory! I hope this sets some precedent for other patriots caught up in the Austrian legal system.
